The National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare PAC, one of the nation’s premiere organizations advocating for older adults, is proud to endorse Congresswoman April McClain Delaney for reelection.

Congresswoman McClain Delaney is a fighter for Maryland who has built a record in the United States House of Representatives of taking on Trump, DOGE, and any corporate interests who are profiteering off of seniors.

I’m proud to receive the endorsement of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. As the Trump administration and its allies threaten cuts to Social Security and Medicaid, we have to be clear: these are earned benefits, not political leverage. I’ll always keep fighting to protect our seniors and working families in Maryland.

– Congresswoman April McClain Delaney

Older Marylanders are being crushed by the affordability crisis created by Trump’s inflationary tariffs and Congressional Republicans attacks on working people. When President Trump and Congressional Republicans jammed through tax cuts for the super-rich that were partly paid for by cutting a trillion dollars from Medicaid and SNAP, Congresswoman McClain Delaney had a response. Her affordability agenda would make life cheaper for working Marylanders by defending and expanding Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act.

Marylanders need a member of Congress who will always put them first. Congresswoman McClain Delaney has been relentless in prioritizing the people of Maryland, and has never backed down from a bully. During uncertain times she has been a consistent presence in her community, guiding her district through the tumult coming out of Washington.

The National Committee looks forward to seeing her reelected in November, so she can continue her unwavering support for seniors and their families.
