The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, is 100% member supported and is independent of Congress, every government agency and all political parties.

The National Committee has not been approved or endorsed by the federal government, and this offer is not being made by an agency of the federal government.  The organization is not affiliated with the Social Security Administration (SSA) or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and should not be used as a substitute for consultation with these agencies.  Making a financial contribution to the National Committee does not affect eligibility for benefits, nor the benefits received, from SSA or CMS.

Dues or gifts to the National Committee are not tax-deductible.  To be a member you need make no special contributions other than annual dues.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with your membership in or support of the National Committee, please contact our Member Services Department.
