NCPSSM Toll Free Hotline helps citizens stay informed as
Congress considers changes to Social Security and Medicare

Social Security and Medicare cuts, Part D price negotiation and private accounts are just a few of the issues on the political agenda in Washington .  Keeping track of important legislation and votes impacting health and income security issues can be a challenge.  That's why the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare (NCPSSM) sponsors the Legislative Hotline, an easy way for individuals to stay up-to-date on the latest Capitol Hill and White House developments that could affect Social Security and Medicare.

The Legislative Hotline provides a brief recorded summary of current issues followed by an optional connection, which enables callers to voice their opinions directly to their Members of Congress in their Washington D.C. offices. The Hotline number is: (800) 998-0180 and can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

More information on the National Committee's positions on the preservation of Social Security and Medicare can be found at: www.ncpssm.org .
