A new round of radio ads, part of the "Hands Off our Social Security Campaign" sponsored by The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare (NCPSSM) will begin airing on WTOP radio in Washington on March 29th . At the same time, NCPSSM members and supporters nationwide will participate in a week-long mobilization campaign which includes a National Call-In Day coordinated by Social Security Works . In the new radio ad "Voices", middle-class Americans of all ages remind Congress that Social Security did not cause the current economic meltdown and benefits should not be cut in the guise of "fiscal responsibility". Social Security has been the one secure income source for millions of retirees, the disabled and their families during this economic crisis and it has not contributed one penny to the deficit.
