As one of the nation's leading advocacy groups fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare, the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, will celebrate past achievements and herald future initiatives during a 25 th Anniversary event at the National Press Club in Washington , DC on Thursday, June 12 th . Hundreds of supporters are expected to attend the program which will highlight the National Committee's work, it's people and it's progress. “The National Committee has a long history of fighting to protect the retirement and health security of millions of American seniors.
