We paid our taxes all our lives into the S. S. fund. I, for one, would be destitute without S. S. even though I worked hard and my husband worked hard all out lives. The HAVES would like to take away from the HAVE NOTS so they can buy another yacht, mansion and jet I guess. Social Security is just fine and with a few tweaks will be there for our grandchildren. I thank God it is there for me and hasn't been privatized. When I think of privatizing Haliburton and its ilk come to mind.
